I bought an automatic Qashqai from DRB over the weekend, and the whole process was really stress-free. After test-driving a few cars, I found the one I wanted and was able to drive it home the same day. It was great to go to a dealership without having to deal with any pushy sales tactics.

On a side note, I drove my car into work on Monday and found out a few guys from the office had also bought cars from DRB over the years, and they told me they'd had good experiences too. Online reviews are good, but when you hear it directly from people you know, it really fills you with confidence.

I bought my 2019 Vauxhall Vivaro recently from DRB, it was displayed on their Lamerton forecourt, and I was given plenty of time to drive it and check it out by Jason. The whole process was effortless. It looked great inside and out and had been really well detailed.

A few niggles arose but were dealt with quickly and effectively without question at their large busy workshops in Pits Cleave. It needed a new rear door catch and bent bumper also during checking it over they discovered the battery was not at its best and immediately replaced it with new without me having to ask. All done for free within my free 3 month warranty.

It is 'only' a £10k van, but that's massive for me and like many of us I was nervous. None of us can fix our own vehicles nowadays, it truly is an expert professional trade and this was my first encounter with DRB.

The mechanics did a great job - neat, tidy and within the time they said they would.
I was particularly impressed with Kyle on reception who phoned me midday to update me on progress and let me know that it would all be done by end of day, as planned.
I also really liked the fact that when I collected it David took time to talk me through all that had been done and reassured me that I should just give them a call if I had any other queries.

I'm a delivery driver, found a car I wanted to view (originally not with these guys) came up to Tavistock to view it, it had sold, decided to have a look around other dealers before making my way back to do my delivery route and thought I'd have a look at DRB. I do not regret it. I told Dom that I was after a Mercedes estate, he showed me a 2017 Mercedes E class estate which was slightly more than I originally was looking to spend, he reassured me about the finance, took me to view the car as it was at a different site, let me have a look around with no pressure or watching over, took me out in it and let me test drive it by myself as well, something not many garages would let a 20 year old lad do. We then quickly sorted finance as I explained I needed to get back to do my work. Nothing was too much hassle. The next day, despite back and forth arrangement with the finance company the funds were not there by the broker as it was bank holiday. As the funds had been approved I received a call from Dom and was told they would release the car to me anyway as the funds would be approved when the broker was next open. Above and beyond service, overjoyed. Picked it up, had it 4 days before EML light came on (it happens) they sent over my warranty, booked it in to a garage of my choice for diagnosis, discovered the warranty didn't cover the issue and then offered to have it back to fix the AdBlue related issue themselves at their own expense! Top notch guys. Just to go the extra mile asked if I required the car (I needed it as going away coming weekend) and have been offered a courtesy car.
Prior to this I had never bought a car from a dealership and it was not an experience I was looking forward to, you expect pushiness not the laid back atmosphere Dom and the team provide and I can not thank them enough for not judging and treating me differently for my age. Excellent garage, will not hesitate to purchase from them next time me or my family are after a vehicle.

I had a couple things I wanted corrected on the car and I had read a couple reviews about this dealership not honouring their warranty. However, I can confirm this was not the case. Bought a Skoda Superb from Drb and Jason was really helpful and the car is excellent, actually looks like new and is in better even though it a 2016. After my car was written off (also Skoda Superb) I have been looking for a replacement car, which when you want to be certain is a huge time vacuum searching searching and more searching. I was pretty nervous about spending the money on the right car as not wanting to buy a problem and so over last 2 months I have called (hassled) several dealerships and looked at a few cars. In addition to info over the phone, I asked Jason for additional videos (tyres and disks, engine bay and underneath etc.) which were sent to me without any hesitation. In short I had looked at (online and test drive) several cars all round the country. This one looked best on paper (service history, condition, price) and so after many phone calls over the weeks I finally headed over to Tavistock to have a look. Not a shiny flashy dealership with polished floors and dozens of staff buzzing around (a relief), just straight forward, no pressure selling and very friendly relaxed conversation. Handed over my licence and went for a long test drive, again no pressure and test drive on my own (with my son who had given me a lift - good for testing the stereo!) for as long as i liked (out for around 20 mins). In short the car was exactly as advertised and in excellent condition. I have had it 4 days now and done some motorway driving as well as twisty country lanes. So far so good - no issues to report. I am absolutely delighted with it. Price was spot on and transaction was smooth and hassle free - I drove the car home that day around 15 mins after the test drive. Thanks DRB and Jason for all your help and putting up with my repeated phone calls and questions. Absolutely love the car. Thanks

Having been impressed with our buying experience with David and Charles some 2 1/2 years ago, our Cooper S experienced an engine management problem whilst visiting Tavistock this week (25/2/20). Went to the DRB workshop hoping the problem could be sorted within our weeks visit but the outcome was beyond what I expected, fixed within 1 1/2 hours. David couldn't have been more helpful, even offered to pop us into town while work was undertaken! Will not hesitate to deal with again for purchasing, shame not closer for servicing/repairs.

So impressed with the way way the car was prepared, A new Mot , service, even fitted a new clutch which I hadn't noticed on inspection. A excellent vehicle to drive. Before writing a review I wanted to get to know my car, my parents had previously bought two cars from this dealer so I had an already good recommendation starting point. I have had my vehicle for over a month and in that time I have had no issues, if I had, I felt confident that either Dave or Charles would happily resolve them promptly. We bought quite an old car from DRB Car Sales and we asked for some jobs to be to be done before buying. When we picked the car up they were all done, couple of things went wrong with the car (almost to be expected).
